jQuery Lately works by preventing images from loading on a Web page, if they're not visible on screen.

In case JS is turned off, or there's a problem loading jQuery or with another JS script, there's a fallback method included, so images will not be prevented from loading normally.

Implementing this 'lazy loading' algorithm, developers can protect and preserve their bandwidth on pages with lots of images, which in most cases get ignored if the users don't scroll down the page. The plugin saves bandwidth costs and also improves page loading times at the same time.

A demo is included with the download.
